10 cents buys a meal for an orphan
$2 buys a week's worth of meals for an orphan
$5 buys a PCM audio CD (ask us for more details)
$25 buys 5 big bunches of bananas
$35 pays for everything for one orphan child for a month at PCM Mbarara
$50 buys a huge bag of rice, enough to feed all the orphans
$75 pays for the month salary of our 10 Mbarara supporter workers or the teachers from our second school site in Rwemikoma
$90 buys a new bike for a pastor
$125 pays for one month's salary of one teacher at the Mbarara site
$250 pays for one month's rent at our PCM Mbarara office
$500 pays for a new cow for a pastor with the Cows for the Kingdom program launching in early 2010. The pastor will daily milk and receive about $3 a day for his efforts, enough to sustain them in their work with the church.
$1000 pays for a hotel room and breakfast for 43 pastors meeting together in Mbarara for a pastors conference twice a year.
$1750 pays for all the school supplies and hygiene equipment and medicine for 250 children for one of our 3 school terms.
$2000 pays for a plane ticket for a PCM staffer or PCM supporter to Uganda.
$10000 buys a new school building for 2 classes.
$25000 buys a tractor for our new PCM land we want to buy
$50000 buys 100 acres to eventually move the school site where we can have plenty of space for the school children but lots of opportunity to farm the land and grow our own food to sell and share with others.

How to Donate to Parental Care Ministries

We formed a nonprofit corporation that has been approved with tax exempt status under secton 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are 100 % tax deductible since May of 2008. We will send out a yearly letter detailing your contributions each January.

To pay for a sponsored orphan: You can make a donation for $420 yearly or $35 monthly. We prefer check but do take paypal as well. We would like to have the payments by the first of the month if you are paying monthly. Currently we are not sending out monthly reminders

Donated funds are distributed at the discretion of the Parental Care Ministries Board of Directors. If a project is overfunded, the funds will be directed toward a similar project.
